Before checkout, we brought all these issues up with the manager Megan Walker. The next day, our trash was never emptied (overflowing with diapers and trash) so we called housekeeping/front desk twice - they never showed to take the trash so I put them in bags myself and left them out in the hallway. We notified housekeeping that we would like new sheets - they delivered them with the expectation that we change the bed ourselves. Next, my mother in law went to bed (2 queen bed room) only to find luggage tags stuffed in the bed sheets which made it doubtful that the linens were cleaned/changed in the room. We were then told they don’t have but then the manager said they do and finally housekeeping delivered it but it was a disaster trying to put an overtired infant to bed waiting for a pack n play that was requested multiple times earlier that day (and before our arrival). When we returned to the room that evening it still wasn’t there. It still didn’t arrive over an hour later so we re-requested before heading out for the day. The front desk staff said they would have housekeeping deliver it. We didn’t have the pack n’ play in the original room 305 or the new room 405 after check in. I then called the hotel to confirm that have them and they could see the request on the reservation. When I made the reservation, I requested a pack and play for the baby to sleep in. We were given room 305 when we checked in only to head to the room and find it totally not checkin ready (bed still not made and bathroom used). That’s where the pros (and only reason for two stars at all) of the stay ends as our experience was otherwise abysmal from beginning to end. The rooms were overall spacious, comfy, and well appointed. I chose this hotel because the rooms come with a mini kitchen (fridge, sink, etc) and I was traveling with a 9 month old infant so that came in handy for making and storing formula and food. The gym is small but has the basic cardio and weights. Breakfast has the usual fare and the staff that works the breakfast area are great. The lobby has a cool vibe to it with lots of big screen TVs, lounge chairs and games. The nice things about this hotel include the convenient location (close to downtown and the Gulch area so you can walk to the main sites). I stayed here after Christmas through NYE.
